How to connect a digital TV decoder to an iMac?

I've an iMac and a digital TV decoder (Telesystem 7900 HD). This second evice has an ethernet port. I connected my iMac to a Sony TV via ethernet using Twonky Server. May connect my iMac to the digital decoder using Twonky Server too? Thank you very much, best regards.
