Using aliases to organize media

I'd like to create aliases to files and folder for shows that are 'kid safe'.
I tried using Mac aliases, but Twonky doesn't appear to follow them. Is there any way I can have a video show up in multiple places in the folder tree without having multiple copies of the file?
