Maxtor Shared Storage 2 Twonky4.4 > Xbox360 = Disconnects

I have installed Twonky 4.4 on my Maxtor Shared Storage II (MSS2) and it works like a charm - for a short while.

My Xbox 360 connects easily and I can play music and stream movies all I like.
But after 4 or 5 minutes the Xbox looses the connection and is unable to reconnect until I reboot the MSS2. A quick reboot and Twonky works perfectly for the next 5 minutes and so on.

The disconnects occurs whether or not I'm streaming content. Even if there's just a connection and no streaming activity, the connection drops after a few minutes.

Has anyone experienced this kind of behavior?

sounds like the twonky process is crashing. ssh in and check if the process is running, if it isn't, restart it and enable logging to help figure out why it's crashing.

btw, it works perfectly on my MSSII for several months
