Hi -
I've used Twonky for several years on my PC and am now trying to install it to the new NAS that I just purchased (Terastation Live). I downloaded the correct server version from the Twonky page, updated the NAS firmware, and after using acp_commander to enable telnet I got what seemed like a good installation result. The last line of the installation was :
The web interface is at http//<ipaddress>:9000/configpage/index.html
However when I plug this URL into my browser I am unable to bring up the configuration page. Firefox says unable to connect to server. I can still access the NAS through all of the normal channels so I know it's working as before.
Also, I cannot "see" the server from the media devices I use to listen to music.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Tony

Re: Terastation Live Installation
After more searching I found the answer. Twonky was never being loaded onto the NAS. To get going I started with this posting:
http://buffalo.nas-central.org/forums/v ... =39&t=2999
Which helped me realize that I has not dowloaded the addons from the Buffalo tech site to install WGET. I followed the instructions as laid out on the posting with the only exception that I had to change some file locations, did not set tyhe debug flag (Step 1) and I DID use the Twonky server for Terastation LIVE vs the recommended PRO. As the posting was more than a year old i assume some of the software was updated to compensate. Follow through all the way to the end to enable telnet and the autostart and I'm good to go.
Many thanks to Jimbo for the posting.
