I just got a WD My World Book II (1TB) and I'm trying to stream video to my Xbox 360 without having the need to run my pc. I installed twonky on my NAS but Xbox doesn't see it. What am I doing wrong? Is it the NAS itself that won't work with this kind of setup? Thanks

Do you have Windows Media Player set up for sharing?

Yes, I can share media off my local hard drive just not my NAS.

I had some trouble with my mybookworld, have you followed all the steps from this site?

You have to make sure that the server is still running as a deamon after you logout of your session, and then if you want the server always running add it to your post_network_start.sh and post_network_stop.sh
Sorry if this is old advice... But following the instructions on that page have my 2tb mybook world II streaming flawlessly with my 360.
