DNS-323, Twonky 6.0.34 and playlists

Hi guys,

I can't find anything to help me out with this, and what I have tried, hasn't worked.

I have my music share set as /media/my music (set to all content types) and have playlists in this folder in both XML and m3u format. The music itself is in /media/music/itunes/itunes music, twonky scans and displays all my music correctly but in playlists, all I see is the stock playlist of recently added.

My question is, how on earth do I get my personal playlists to display????

Many thanks in advance,
Chris

Here's two things to try:

1. Use iTunes to create the playlists of your iTunes songs. TwonkyServer should import those fine.
2. Try changing your scan folder to Music, instead of all media types. I don't think that is the problem, but it's worth trying to see if it makes a difference.

Would you post the output from the following two commands that you enter into a web browser-
1. http://<ip.address.of.your.NAS>:9000/rpc/get_option?contentbase
2. http://<ip.address.of.your.NAS>:9000/rpc/get_option?contentdir

Obviously substitute <ip.address.of.your.NAS> with the actual IP address of your DNS-323.

Also post examples of an m3u and XML play list that is not working.

Thank you very much for your help here but I got this sorted.

I exported the playlists I wanted from iTunes then ran them into a program called Playlist Creator which creates them with the slashes and relative paths etc. I then put these into the actual music folder - \itunes music, rebuilt the database and all seems to be well.

Once again, thanks for your help, it is much appreciated.
