Why? i dont like the Public folder and its possibilties with users,...ftp...and other configurations...

found something i dont understand.

Change Directory to /home > an option thats not tandard availible in Twonky with MD-254

copy in your browser
1 http://SERVERNAME:9000/rpc/get_option?

2 http://SERVERNAME:9000/rpc/set_option?contentbase=/home

Beware! When you power down de NAS. Configurations are not stable anymore.

I dont know why and what is does, maybe Rick knows?

Also,... allot of new functions appeared in de webconfiguration that i've never seen before on my NAS
Also, loading playlists on my xbox are working again
Also, thumpnail preview on my xbox were working again
Also, i can make folders in the root section now
and so on...

Who understands this?

Sorry to hear that you're having problems. There are quite a few NAS experts here in the forum. Unfortunately, I know nothing about Linux. I've forwarded your question to someone who may be able to answer. IF they have an answer, I'll post it here.
