complete Reset for Twonky on a Qnap TS-212

Post by Kyruss » Thu Mar 15, 2012 11:30 am

Hello,

I have a anoying problem with my Qnap TS-212 and my TV.
My Panasonic TV sorts Files by Name and Date.
All Files from the same Day are sorted by Name.
Unfortunately I have some Files where I have created the Files not in the right Order.
So they are mixed up, this looks like:

File01 Date 10.03.12
File03 Date 11.03.12
File04 Date 11.03.12
File02 Date 12.03.12

So I changed the Date / Time Stamp of the Files, but the are still displayed with the old Date and Time Stamp.
Windows 'sees' the new Time / Date.

I also tryed to rebuld the Database and also a Reset to factory Defaults, but nothing.
I thought, that if I would use the Factory Default, that the shared Directorys would also be reseted, but this did not happen, also the chaged Name auf the Server was not reseted.

So is there a way to get rid of the complete Database and the Config, so that I can start from sratch ?

Find the directory where the Twonky appdata is stored and delete everything in it.

BUT deleting the pre-configured qpkg ini file would be very dangerous.

..no, that is definitiv not what should be done!

That ist the Database File:

/mnt/HDA_ROOT/twonkymedia/twonkymedia.db

This ist the Config:

/mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/twonkyvision-mediaserver.ini
and/or this
/mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/twonkyvision-mediaserver6.ini

If You delete them, Twonky is like new.
