Twonky Server still needed with Synology DS-211+ and DSM4?

Dear all,
I had twonky server installed on the Synology DS-211+ with DSM 3.2.
It worked quite all right with my Onkyo TX-905NR receiver.
Now I have the latest DSM 4 version and tried to install the Twonky server, where I failed. I don't know what I did wrong.
Now I see that the Synology DSM comes with a Mediaserver which starts easily.
Do I still need the Twonky Server? Respectively I'd like to know what I would be missing by just using the Synology media server?
