flv and Samsung Smart TV and rescan on 8.0.2

Glad to see the forums are up again and phibertron is still active, otherwise I would have a couple of boat anchors for servers.
Back on 7.x.x, there was a mod in the db file for samsung that let twonky deliver flv files to avoid Samsung's file format not supported error.
I went to 8.0.2 and lost that mod. I searched but can't seem to find it.
Does anyone have that? I think it specified transcoding of flv to mpg, but not sure.
Also, it seems that I also lost the automatic rescan if set to -1. Has anyone else seen that or fixed it?

(Adding) Well, I installed 8.0.3 and apparently it fixed the flv issue BUT I can only find the flv files from listing ALL videos. They do not appear in the folder scan. I will see what else I can fiddle with. I'm not sure if the rescan issue is fixed too... I'll know later.
