Seagate central upgrading version arm-cavm-64k-2010q1?

Post by scottfree1 » Tue Nov 17, 2015 9:52 pm

Any chance of fixing (the seagate-holes have disabled twonky web interface) or either upgrading or installing a separate stand alone version? I've been bouncing various version of the wall to see if any stick but no joy. They are using a funky Cavium Econa CNS3420 arm9 cpu and this is the best I can find on what twonky v. the are using "arm-cavm-64k-2010q1" but I don't see this v in the download section? Any alternate candidates if this v is not maintained?

Found it, at least the main issue I was looking to fix
/Data/TwonkyData/twonkyconfig/twonkyserver.ini
The seagate-holes had set 1 and 4 to disabled delete them and bam webui working, you'll need root, login with putty user/pw are the ones you used when you created your account I usually use sudo -i making myself root or sudo nano /Data/TwonkyData/twonkyconfig/twonkyserver.ini
should work
old
# bitfield to disabled specific server frontends like HTML or RSS, use (1=HTML, 2=RSS, 4=JSON, 8=FLASH)
disablefrontends=14
new
# bitfield to disabled specific server frontends like HTML or RSS, use (1=HTML, 2=RSS, 4=JSON, 8=FLASH)
disablefrontends=

Well close the settings now work, but the content does not populate, just a page with a dead link to "My library" well one step fwd, one back..

Here's the rest of story, this gets the content/beam to webui up and rockin, much thanks to twonk support and a big fu to seagate support..

login with putty user/pw the ones created during setup

sudo curl 127.0.0.1:9000/rpc/set_option?enableweb=2
sudo curl 127.0.0.1:9000/rpc/set_option?enablenmcwebapi=1
sudo curl 127.0.0.1:9000/rpc/set_option?disablewebui=0

Seagate's "help"
Unfortunately, the Twonky service version is not published information so it is unavailable to provide to you.

In reference to the Twonky server image sent, this also is 3rd party and not related to the Seagate Central directly either. Are you able to use the drive when connected locally and remotely through the Tappin service? This is the extent of the support for this drive. If you are trying to do something outside these parameters, I would refer you to third party sources. "
