New Twonky version installation on MyBook Whitelight Gen 2

Hi there,
I've upgraded Twonky from 7.0.8 to v8.4 on MyBook Whitelight Gen 2 (MBWE2) and after evenutall startup, it fails after 10 minutes. The website IP:9000 becomes unresponsive and fails. The server is inaccessible via SSH, pinging the IP address fails. The only way to restart it, is not use include the twonky startup scipt, but then I cant use twonky.
It works fine for v7.0.8 and v8.2 but not for the latest version.
Due to the lack of procedural steps on linux distributions, the steps I use come from

From what I understand based on observations, the twonky service works fine until rescan while and/or creating video screenshots.
I think the problems stems from there, any useful advice please? for example how to switch on full descriptive logging to help diagonse the fault. I dont know if MBWE2 supports this version but there is no documentation to say otherwise.
