Twonky and WD MyCloudEx2Ultra

Post by Nosmo » Fri Apr 03, 2020 8:01 pm

Just getting started. I have some "simple" questions.

1) I copied a bunch of flac files to MyCloudEx2Ultra/Public/Shared Music. Is that ok? I read on the Bose Forum - do not touch that folder. So should I delete those manually copied files?

2) I seem to have an old library that Bose is reading. I cant see what library the Bose unit is reading. It may be an old Windows Media Player file from before I disable WMP on my PC> How do I delete this library and start over?

3) My intention is to read from only ONE music folder on MyCloudEx2Ultra. In the Twonky dashboard, I see that I am reading from 3 Media Servers. How do I "point" Twonky to the folder where all my flac files will reside?

Thanks

I am making some progress but I am hoping for some direction on the following:

1) My Twonky Library does not reflect my source files. How do I address this? Is this a problem with Shared folders?

2) I still don't know if I should clean out my Public/Shared Music folder. I populated it manually. Is this a problem?

I am now reading the Public folder where my music files are stored.

I manually deleted all the files that I had manually copied into Public/Shared Music folder. No damage done.

Please close this ticket.
