Roku M1001 can't display lacie/twonky playlists

Post by u4ea » Fri Jul 06, 2007 6:32 am

I'm using twonky that's integrated in Lacie's ethernet mini v2 with playlists in m3u and pls format, but my roku m1001 doesn't see any playlists except an 'AAC' one (that I didn't even create....)
The playlists are in the root of the media server share folder.
Playlists from iTunes (when iTunes is enabled to share library/playlists) show up under Roku playlists, so it seems to be a twonky/lacie issue.
Thanks in advance,
Tim

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the playlists need to be in the same directory as your tunes they point to..not in root. The AAC one is likely an auto-generated pls from iTunes, from it's xml library, which holds both music and playlist data. G'Luck!

I've moved my m3u and pls playlists around through the dir tree with same result: roku doesn't see them (or twonky doesn't present them.)
I'm assuming m3u is fine and with relative paths to mp3s?
Thank you,
Tim
