qnap ts-100 media server - music directories

Post by olo » Sun Aug 12, 2007 5:18 pm

Hi,
i have a problem with my qnap ts-100. When i put some mp3 files into qMulimedia directory (which is default media server data source) and when I connect network media player via my lan network to these resources all files are seen as one big list. I would like my resorces to be devided in some folders (for example artists, albums, genres etc) or to be served in folder structure as they are on disk.

All mp3 files under windows has properties (like album, genre, etc) set and visible. What I am doing wrong?

Please help.

TwonkyMedia is not included in QNAP TS-100. It is a basic UPnP/DLNA, which is based on GMedia, in TS-100.

The function you want might not be available.

Thanks a lot!

Does anyone know if there is any possibility to make this gmedia server preinstalled on QNAP TS-100 serve my music files categorised in a way Twonky does (artists, albums, genres, etc)?
