Xbox 360 and MP4; Xbox 360 and MP4

Has anyone had any success streaming MP4 to the xbox.

In, light I have been able to stream "quicktime" video, however MP4's, so far will not play...

(Via Lacie Ethernet/ Twonky Vision 4.3)

Nope, MP4 streaming from a Synology DS107e to an Xbox 360 doesn't work for me either. The video shows up, but doesn't play.

WMVs stream fine.

...do WMV's load on iPods? If so how do u convert MP4's into a WMV???

OK OK!!! here it is... if you want to stream MP4 to ur Xbox 360 and also have the same file work on ur iPod, simple create the file as u normally do for ur iPod,,,after that open the file in QuickTime Pro, (must be pro and yah it costs 30 bux to upgrade)... once the file is open do a save as,,, this will convert the file to a .mov file...

THIS FILE WILL STREAM TO UR XBOX, via media server AND PLAY ON UR iPod....
