Buffalo Linkstation Live - Disk doesn't spin down

Post by mikle_01 » Thu Oct 25, 2007 6:32 am

Hi,
I got installed Twonky 4.4 (after installing on NSLU2 and Maxtor Shared Storage II) on my Buffalo Linkstation Live HS-DH320GL - after used step-by-step instruction on this forum (thank god!)

http://forum.nas-central.org/viewtopic. ... e&start=15

But; I wonder, that my LS doesn't spin down the drive (internal 320 GB); because I expected that (my MSSII does it reliably!!). I disable automatic rescaning ("If set to 0, automatic rescans are disabled") -> on my MSS2 it works 100%! After 30 min. inactivity the Disk spins down! Could it work on my LS, too!?

I use original FW 1.3 ( BTW; I read a lot of "stocking" FW - what's this!? Should I use any other modified FW!?)
