I have a LaCie Ethernet Disk Mini v2 with TwonkyMedia 4.4.2 installed and prior to the new PS3 firmware update all the AVC files I have played with no problem. Now I'm getting a 'corrupt data' message on the PS3 with some, but not all, of the files. The ones that appear to be affected are the larger files >2GB>4GB. Is anyone else having a similar problem?
Yes I have the same problem. Although all AVC files from my Sony SR7 (m2ts) are showing as 'Unsupported Data', I don't have large files to test.
I saw a note in the thread in the avsforum saying that Sony solved the pause/ff/rew problem in FW2.0, but still awaiting to solve the new problem with AVC files as they are aware of it!!!
I wonder are your AVC files time pause-able and time scanable?
Thanks,
-Gus

I wasn't aware that there was a problem with pausing, FF of RW of AVC in v1.93. I'm pretty sure I had no problems with this.ghassan99 wrote:I wonder are your AVC files time pause-able and time scanable?
Now that I've had some time to view more AVC files, the problem isn't just with large files, but I seem to get a lot of stuttering with playback on the others which do play.
I contacted Sony(EU) who appear to be aware of the problem and aim to get a fix out 'shortly'!
Yes pausing and rw would often cause a stall or network connection error (it would throw you off the network and you couldn't play movies after that). It requried a restart of the PS3. You would see this easily with 120x forward speeds, although 30x would do it as well (and the others if you let them go a bit longer).
