Twonky on Icy Box IB-NAS4220-B and iTunes

Post by ear-lution » Fri Feb 01, 2008 12:30 pm

HELP!!!

I have enabled Twonky, I can see the DHTML page on port 9000, and can interact with the server.

iTunes cannot see my library. I have created a folder on the NAS to hold the iTunes Library (which I did with iTunes (running on an Intel Mac, with OS X 10.5.1) so all the relevant files/folders are there) and Twonky can see the library file is seems to be happy with it.

But iTunes has an empty Library, yet the Twonky server is listing the correct number of songs in it's database???

Please help

your music has to be in a folder called 'music' in the 'public' share for iTunes to recognise it.

page 61 of your manual.

That is for Bonjour - not Twonky, which although does work, doesn't affect the iTunes library database, so I can't put any bonjour serves tunes onto my iPod.

but thanks anyway
