from NAS to PS3

hello all,
i'm new to this forum and to this software.
i have a few questions about NAS and PS3....
how can my PS3 see the NAS?
when i instal twonkymedia on my macintosh and go to my PS3 it works fine but i have still loads of picteres on my 500 gb lacie mini ethernet disk.
How can i run twonkymedia on my NAS?
please help me out,
