Lacie Big Disk

Please forgive the clueless questions, but I haven't been able to find any docs or manuals anywhere.
The manual for my Lacie 1TB Big Disk is useless. By googling around, I've discovered the uPnP server in the Lacie is apparently TwonkyVision. OK, cool. Now how do I use it?
The Lacie interface just lets you specify "which top-level directories contain video/photo/music content." That's all the control you get. So I said the "\share" dir had photo & video content, then copied some JPGs into the \share\Photos dir and some .mp4 files into the \share\Movies dir. I told the Big Disk to rescan. It found the photos but not the videos. I tried putting the .mp4 files under \share, \share\Movies, and \share\Movies\MovieName\VIDEO_TS, but it didn't find any of them. What format is it looking for?
Is there a decent manual somewhere?
Thanks!
Gary

Anyone? Can somebody give me a pointer of how to run this thing?

I got the solution from Lacie. The steps were:
Remove all updates. I'd updated to 1.2.1 for the Big Disk but apparently that's wrong.
Update to 1.0.10 (
http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/E ... 1.0.10.zip) -- but mine was already at that level after removing updates.
Update to 1.1.2 (
http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/E ... -1.1.2.zip).
That caused Twonky to recognize video files on the server, and the PS3 could see them.
Then install
http://www.jumpace.com/Work/Twonky.Server.Web.Admin.zip to access the Twonky admin interface.

Gary, (or anyone else that knows this stuff)
I'm having all kindsa trouble with my LaCie Ethernet Big Disk, and was happy to see your answer. I'm trying those updates now. OK, that works, alright, cool, I got folders back again, but the same old issues, 2 servers, both Ethernet_BD, show up, but only one serves folders, which I need...
Have you had any success getting the BD to perform reliably? Mine has to rebooted every few days.
Have you gotten a handle on how to get the Twonky admin to actually affect anything? I haven't been able to get any changes to do anything besides interfere with the regular Ethernet_BD named server, which is the only name ever seen, either once or twice. If I rename it from Twonky admin, the new name doesn't show up in the list of servers, and also the 2nd Ethernet_BD doesn't show up anymore, and the one that does is the one with no folders...anyway, if I could just get that renaming thing to work, it'd be a great start!
If I can ever get this figured out, I'd like to post a topic on getting the LaCie Ethernet Big Disk to work the way one wants it to as a media storer and server, Which makes me wonder, does anyone reading this know how to come at it from a fresh angle, by maybe changing the operation of the BD more basically? Or something?

I have found a way to change the server name, and apparently, don't ask me why, fix my main problems with the Ethernet_BD and server names and multiple servers showing on my Roku. I just decided to change the machine name in the hope that I'd be able to determine which server (see above) was the "good" one. After changing the machine name and rebooting the Ethernet_BD, lo and behold, the server name is the same as the new machine name and it serves folders and it is the only server showing. Wow, lucked into it, after reverting to firmware 1.0.1, then updating to 1.1.2, as described above by Gary.
Still hoping to find out more secrets, though, so any ideas are eagerly anticipated, anyone!
