DS-207+ Installation

Post by patrone@cdwg.com » Sat Jul 19, 2008 6:09 am

Hello -

I am having trouble installing Twonky on my DS-207+. I've read a ton of posts and my understanding is that the CS-407 installation should work on the DS-207+. I've downloaded the program, run the NASSetup file, and now I'm attempting to start the service using telnet. I'm able to connect to the diskstation but I'm unable to cd /volume1/public/twonkyvision. When I attempt that code, I get -ash: cd: can't cd to /volume1/public/twonkyvision.

I've attempted to troubleshoot this on my own and really have gotten no-where. When I ps I don't see any mention of twonkyvision - so my best guess is that it's not actually running. Can anyone assist? I am not very proficient with telnet. Thanks!

And I am, in fact, a moron. It helps to have created a public folder before the installer program tries to write to it. If you don't have a public folder on volume 1 this installation won't work.
