Twonky Media Server 4.4.5 on Qnap TS-109 streaming Problems

Hello,

I am new at this forum and I hope I am right here and maybe someone can assist or help me.

First of all I will tell you about my constellation:
I use a Qnap TS-109 with integrated Twonky Media Server Version 4.4.5 for audio and video streaming to a Siemens M740AV.
This works fine but I got one Problem:
When I want to stream .avi files to M740AV they appear in the menu and I can choose them but they won´t play. Only black screen.
If I choose .mpg files it works fine.
I do not know what I can do.
what´s also strange is that sometimes the twonky server sets the terminal from Siemens M740Av to Gemeric Media Reciever.

If I try it with Nero Show Time on my PC it works fine with .avi and .mpg files.

I also asked in the Qnap Forum but I did not get an answer concerning the problem.
Maybe someone can help me.

I have to say that it was my own fault......I should read bevore....
In the manual of the M740AV is written that avi files can be streamed to the M740Av BUT the twonky media server is installed on a PC.
So the streams will be trancoded like in nero media home.

The NAS Server can´t transcode the avi / divx files.

So it was my mistake
