iTunes playlists and ratings on NAS

Hi all,

I want to use the itunes playlists and ratings which I create on PC with twonky installed on my NAS (Synology 107+). Parsing of playlists of itunes library.xml works fine (I can see all songs in the log file and play songs from the playlists via my media adapters during the parsing period). During the parsing a itunes.playlist file is created on the NAS (in the twonkyvision directory)

However, after the parsing the playlists disappear without a trace. Ratings are also not extracted from the .xml file at all.

I wonder if I need to change the path names of the songs in .xml file (find/replace with a text editor) to let them point to the correct location on the NAS (instead of the PC)? I tried that in vain, in this case the songs don't even appear in the log file. But maybe I just did not change to the correct path (/volume1/music/...)

Has anybody access to his/her playlists on a NAS? Anybody with a suggestion?

Best regards and thank you in advance
---- Peter

NB: Equipment
- itunes 7.6 on MS Vista
- Synology DS 107+ on 640 firmware version
- Twonky 4.4.5

NBB: Another question:
After installation of Twonky on the NAS I need to invoke the mediaserver once (./twonkymedia). There are 2 executables: twonkymedia and twonkymediaserver. I tried both, they appear to do the same thing. Does anybody know what is the difference between those ?
