Okay here goes - from memory - its pretty easy if you take it a step at a time...

Go here... http://www.twonkyforum.com/unsupported/4.4.11/
Get the CS-407 version NOT the DS-207 version (CS-407 has similar chipset/hardware to DS-207+)
Go to the DS-207+ admin page, ensure that you have build 702 of the Synology firmware or later and enable telnet support.
Place the Twonky CS-407 package on a PC and follow the instructions in the packaging.

On the DS-207+ this broadly involves creation of a shared space on the DS-207+ drive for the installer to use. This is a "public" share.

When you first login as part of the install process you will need to prodvide the "root" login ID and password combination, this is not the "admin" login combination and you may have to create a root user in the DS-207+ before you can get started or the installer will fail.

When the DS-207+ is ready to receive its new copy of Twonky just run the Windows-based installer application and tell it where the DS-207+ is located on the network (IP address), the root name and password and let it do the rest.

After you've done it once future installations are completely painless, simply re-enable telnet on the DS and run the Windows installer. Its all done in a couple of minutes.

After installation the Twonky config is the same for all systems, but beware, if you have a large music or video collection it can take hours building the initial content database before you can see anything from your media streamer. Just be patient - it will work. You should work your way down the bars on the left hand pane and check all the config settings.

You should find the initial Twonky status at "http://<NAS IP ADDRESS>:9000/config"

Warning: when updating to later versions some of these get overwritten from time to time. So keep a note of the settings that you've used, and don't lose your Twonky registration/activation key.

Hope this helps.
