I've running Twonky 4.4.6 on my Buffalo Terastation (plain not Pro). I'm running 4.4.6 because 4.4.9 doesn't seem to support .M2TS files to my PS3.

Everything works fine, but after about a day the twonky server seems to crash and won't server any content or the :9000 config page any more. I turned on logging and it shows the server gets stuck each time in a NOTIFY message loop, sending NOTIFY messages about every 20secs.

Anyone else seen this? Really lower the wife acceptance factor if it isn't reliable.

Seems to be alot of us around here with Twonky crashin on the TeraStations... no answers as of yet i'm afraid.

Yeah - returned to this forum and hoped to find a solution to this for my plain old Terastation setup. I am running a few Roku clients plus Syabas based for video. 4.4.9 crashes after a few days - sometimes after a few hours.
Can somebody confirm that 4.4.6 actually does not have this issue? And where can I find 4.4.6 for the Terastation?

I upgraded fom 4.2 - and do not want to go back that far.

Hope they fix this soon.

you'll see 4.4.6 seems to have the same issues.

as to fixing it, Twonky no longer supports us using it on NAS systems... so don't hold your breath, if it does get fixed in a future release, my feeling is it will be completely by accident.

I fixed my problem that was very similar to this last night - check the above message reference for my last post. I had regressed to 4.4.6 before finding this workaround but would assume same fix would work with 4.4.9.

I tried your fix on my terastation and it worked like charm. I've been running for 24 hrs now and no problems at all.
