I need to buy a license for 4.4.x but there is no obvious way to do this. The links all point to 5.0. How can I do this?

As mentioned in another thread, the NAS version of TwonkyMedia has been discontinued due to rising support costs!
This after I just installed 4.4.9 for a DLink DNS-323. Everything went fine with the installation (absolutely no support was needed) and I am anxious to pay for a license in order to take the install past its evaluation period. I guess Twonky does not need the revenue with the global economy firing on all cylinders. UNBELIEVABLE!
Surely, an arrangement can be made to not leave prospective customers like myself in the lurch?

Licenses for 5.n will activate 4.n.

well, I am glad it worked for someone. I followed the link that said I could use a TwonkyMedia Manger key to activate 4.4.x

I bought the key for 39.95USD and I got this error message

"You cannot register TwonkyMedia with a TwonkyMusic license. Please acquire a TwonkyMedia license or download TwonkyMusic."

I have no idea what TwonkyMusic is - I bought off the TwonkyMedia Manger page.

I logged a support ticket, hopefully this will get resolved, but it sure is hard to give PV my money.

Did you download and install version 4.4.11 from Twonky's site?

According to Twonky the 4.4.11 build is the only one to accept all types of license keys.

So you should have nothing to worry about if you install 4.4.11

Version 4.4.11 did the trick for me on the DNS-323 with FW version 1.08 on the DLink. Thanks for the info.

I bought Twonky Media and found it was Twonky Music and contacted Twonky, that was over a week ago and I've had no reply but they have taken my money!

Beware their support seems to be completly useless!

Am seeing if my credit card Co can do anything.

Just to let you all know.
If you have purchased a Twonky Music license beleiving it to be Twonky Media with your credit card you can put it into dispute to get your money back.
I also have the MD's phone number for PV and am working in Germany next week so will get my German collegue to call and find out what we can do.
Might even call in.
