I've tried changing individual elements of my tree view for Music on both 4.4.9 and 4.4.11 and the following happens:

When you save the config the file "twonkyvision-mediaserver" in the Twonky directory gets updated correctly, and a message about not taking effect until after a re-boot is displayed.

However every time I re-start the TwonkyMedia Server the file reverts to the standard content and my changes are lost.

The only content change that will stick through a re-start is changing between the pre-packaged collection...

Simple Default Navigation
iPod-like
Advanced Default Navigation

I haven't noticed any other areas being restored to default status, just the tree view area.

Can anyone advise me how to stop the Twonky Media Server re-start re-applying its basic config tree options each time it re-starts please.

I'm using the Synology CS407 build on a DS207+

Found an answer to my own problem, but since its not intuitive I thought I'd post it anyway....

First select the standard view closest to the one that you'd like to end up with...

I chose Advanced Default Navigation

Then save the config and re-start the server.

Now change the view to "Custom".

Nothing changes in the tree view, it retains the same 9 tree entries, plus a spare. However changes made by editing the spare slot are now sticky and survive a re-start. Presuemably this would apply to changing any of the standard elements too although I haven't tried this yet .

I can't see any way to add any more views, but now that I can edit them I think 10 will do
