Thecus N5200 - tips on how to setup transcoding?

Post by flynn » Thu Mar 26, 2009 7:49 am

I'm a long time 4.x user and I'm evaluating 5.0.55 on my Thecus N5200. So far it's running as well as 4.4.9, but the only reason I can see to upgrade would be transcoding support which I've been unable to setup.

Can anyone help get me started? How can I install vlc or ffmpeg on the N5200, for example?

Although I don't know if the non-pro N5200 has the power to do it, I'm interested in transcoding also.
