Password growing on its own

Post by Budgie » Thu Aug 19, 2010 12:07 am

Just updated Qnap NAS and received Twonky upgrade to 5.1.6 in the process.
On the "First Steps" page there is an opportunity to set username and password for management of Twonky.
I have entered my chosen name and password and saved but now when revisit the page the number of characters in the password box has grown from 7 to 17. What is going on and how can I stop this from locking me out as, if I save again I will have no idea what are the additional characters.

The actual password is still the same - only the way it is shown on screen is changed.
