I have a Freecom Network Drive XS connected to my home network and I can connect with my laptop via wifi using smb and FTP. Also my xbox360 works with the factory built in media player, and streams video, music and shows pictures.
Now that I have an Android phone I want to be able to stream video and audio on my phone from my external network hard drive without my laptop being on. is this possible with Twonly?
I installed the trial version of Twonky Manager on my laptop to try. It shows my laptop and my network hard drive. Under settings and servers I can add a path for my laptop. But for my network hard drive I can not select the Add button. And pressing rescan does nothing.
Can someone point me in the right direction how to get this all to work? thanks.
