Twonky Forum

Hi,

I'm using Twonky Manager 6.0.28 on my PC which works really well. Since I only use my PC for back-up of my flac files, and have them on my Synology DS207, I want to install Twonky on the NAS. However, I get the same error message no matter which version I use (4.x, 5.x, 6.x) or which NAS it's intented for (DS106, 207, 207+). What it says is:

sh: Can't open /volume1/public/twonkymedia/nas-uninstaller
sh: Can't open /volume1/public/twonkymedia/nas-installer
---
After that, it says that the server has started and that it's installed at /volume1/public/twonkymedia. It also says that the web interface is at http://10.0.0.3:9000/configpage/index.html. However, this page cannot be found, and I still have my old Synology crappy server software running!

Any ideas?

I actually just got Twonky up and running last night on my DS209. Look at the instructions here:

I just had to replace the wget http://www.twonkyforum.com/downloads/6. ... .5-6.0.zip
with wget http://www.twonkyforum.com/downloads/6. ... od-6.0.zip
since ours use the Kirkwood processor.

Only problem I have is the PS3 won't stream my FLAC files, but I think I found a fix for that I'll try out tonight.

Follow the instructions with the "kirkwood" twonky and work fine after a reboot of my DS101j.
For set a ip only:
http://"SynologyIP":9000/rpc/set_option?ip="SynologyIP"
