Twonky 6.0.32 + Synology DS211 = not streaming

Post by kalido » Mon Mar 21, 2011 4:20 am

Hey guys,

I've installed twonky 6.0.32 on my syn ds211 and if I select the server on my player , it locks it up. I've done everything as per forum members' instructions and installation txt.

I've also made sure the player appears in media receivers as well. In the twonky server , it says " not streaming media right now ". Is there something I'm missing , pls help.

p/s : twonky installed on my desktop works fine though.

guys some help pls..........

Twonky installed on my Win 7 pc and Win XP laptop works flawlessly and stream perfectly to my Oppo.
There must be something within the twonky config for linux that causing this.
I have followed the exact instructions as per the installation guide.

I suppose you're runing the Kirkwood build. There are several other topics, with the same problem. Seems to be aproblem of this build. All others (including me) had to go back to 6.0.31-RC6.

hi clapele,

thanks for your reply. I'll try this out. I tried out a couple of v5 release are strangely the worked as well. So as you said it must be an issue with the latest relase.
