Thecus N2200+ NAS & Twonky Media Server Module

hi all,

I have a Thecus NAS 2200+ and it is running Twonky Media server. The download on the Thecus web site says that the Version is 2.0, but once installed on the NAS, it shows the Version as 1.0.0 - is that correct? Is there another download which is actually Ver 2.0?

The download link is http://www.thecus.com/download/module/n ... _2.0.0.zip

Also, it has been working very well, but now I have uploaded a 2.4gig AVI file, and this particular AVI won't show up in the server list, even though it is definitely in the folder with all the other AVI files. This is the only one that doesn't work, and the only one that is over 2 gig. Is there a size limit for AVI files shared with Twonky?

Any help would be much appreciated.

phil

TwonkyServer doesn't have a problem streaming files larger than 2.4GB. I don't know why it's not working. Could be a NAS issue or some other problem. Hopefully someone else with a similar NAS will have a suggestion.

Hello, regarding to this topic I have a answer about my n2200. If I download the new 6.0 version from the thecus site, can I buy a license key of twonky server that will work with the version of the thecus site?

If you buy a 6.0 key, it should work. If it doesn't for some strange reason, let me know and I'll make sure you get a refund.
