connecting mac pc with philips np 2500 via ethernetcable

Hi together,
I can´t connect the i-tunes bibliothek from the Mac Pc to the np2500. The np 2500 is via ethernet connected with internet. it works, I can hear internet-radio for example. but I can´t send the music to the np. I don´t want to establish a wifi connection because every pc is connected via ethernet to the internet. I use twonkymedia server 5.0. Are there any problems with the hompepage of twonkymedia in the moment? I can´t read the faq for example or can open the pages, when I google for further information about twonkymedia.

Late answer.
I have my NP2500 connected to Twonky 5.0b running on a Netgear Readynas Duo.
Not had one problem in one month.
I do also use Ethernet.
Can you browse your music using the Twonkymedia browser?
