Twonky detection and picture issues on Philips 32 8404h/12

Hi all,

i just looked around in this forum and on google and found no real answers to this topic...

here is my case:
i have
- a philips 32 8404h/12 tv
- a WD Mybook WorldEdition 1TB (white stripe) with a running Twonky 5.1 (delivered on the hdd)

I have set up the tv and the mybook to have static ip adresses and added my routers ip as dns and default gateway.
Also i have set the twonky to auto enable new detected devices.
The Philips TV is detected as a generic DLNA 1.0 device.

Generally the twonky is detected in my tv, and i am able to browse my media.
But after a while, a few hours or at the next day, my tv doesnt have the mybook in its list any more.
To get it there again, i have to reset my list of detected devices in twonky, and then its found again immediatelly by the tv.
But that doesn't make any sense to me, because after all the configuration doesn't really change at all... keep in mind that ip and mac adress don't change... :(

It would really be fine to be always able to access my data without using my pc to reset twonky device list.
I would be really happy about any suggestions :)

Another problem i have is that pictures are only shown in 160x120px on the tv but on the mybook they are stored in 5MP size. I found other users having this problem but no answers to this...
any suggestions here?
And does anyone know how to access the twonky config file on the mybook world?

Many questions from me, any help would be really great!
Many thanks in advance!

made some progress here concerning the picture-size...
just tried out several other mediaservers, and finally mediatomb worked fine for pictures.
so now i'm using my mybook twonky for audio and video and mediatomb to view my pictures.

I think the mediaserver detection problem could possibly be caused by mybook standby mode.
Going to play around here a little.

sorry im quite sure i postet the name of the mediaserver... perhaps some forum rules deny posting other mediaserver names and it was edited...

the picture problem was solved using a mediaserver that has the words "media" and "tomb" in it to not name it directly :)

hope this can stay here because i think this could really help some people...
if i hadn't found this solution i propably would have returned my tv...
