Hello,
I cannot see anything when I try to read my Mac from my TV, although the local network in son and connected.
It does not work with or without Philips TV as a client, and not also when I start Twonky after turning the "read PC" on my TV as said in an other post.
Has anyone a solution ?
Thanks.
Pascal
No connection with Philips 37PFL6606h/12
Re: No connection with Philips 37PFL6606h/12
Hello,
Same subject.
Looking at video tutorial : "Basic Tutorial 9: Installing and Configuring TwonkyMedia server for PC or Mac" , it happens to me that Twonky should see my TV automatically, doing nothing, but, in my case the "media receivers" list is empty, although my TV tells me that the home network is on.
I'm connecrtd with two Belkin CPL, one at the back of my TV with ethernet cable, the other is, either at the back of the iMac, or connected to my Internet box, also with ethernet cable.
I tried both connections and in both cases, the TV told it was connected to the home network, and in both case the window "media receivers" in Twonky stayed empty.
On the CPL all the three lights : power, ethernet and CPL are green.
Do not see what I can do more.
Thanks for help.

I'm going to share your message with my friends at Philips and see if they can help to replicate this issue.

I was told that support for Philips TVs was improved by this update. You might want to try this.

Have you already tried to contact the Philips support and describe your problem? They can tell you the right way to eliminate the problem or refer you to another service specializing in this very problem.
