Problem with data located on file server
Post

Version 4.4 for Windows does not seem to be able to handle contents located on remote fileservers. I tried to run 4.4 with contents located on a ReadyNAS through regular file sharing and properly mounted on my computer but I cant get the server to see this contents. On the other hand the same contents on my local C: drive is picked up properly. I tried deleting the DB and forcing a rebuilt and I get the same results.
Would this be caused by a login/password issue? I am specifying the remote contents location with the local path (Z:\... ) and the corresponding folder in open in Windows..

it *should* work when starting the server manually
it can NOT work when using the server as a system service

Run the service as a user that has access to the remote share. That works for me.
