Hi,

thanks for the help from twonky-christian. He made the required changes in the TwonkyMedia code that i was able to port my player extension to the new web interface.

Here is the list of changes in compare to the latest MediaBrowser version :
- Code Optimisation
- Removed leftover code from the MediaBrowser.js
- updated to JW MP3 PLAYER 3.99

As stated in the title you need to have TwonkyMedia V4.4.1 .

To access the new version you need to go to http://x.x.x.x:9000/webbrowse-js instead of http://x.x.x.x:9000/webbrowse after installing the add on !!

Thank you so much for your plug-in, it's really nice to see it in action. Currently my TwonkyMedia is setup on my Buffalo TerraStation and I can connect to it fine using my Vista Home Premium PC and Nintendo Wii. One thing I noticed between both of them is that when playing one song at a time it works fine. But when I want to play the entire folder (which would be an album of songs like 12 or 14 songs) you'll see it starts to buffer until like halfway it hangs. Is there something I can do on my end to optimize or tweak this?

Also, is there something that could be done to play movies in that player too?

Hm, never had this. Do you get the list of titles in the lower part or is this empty?

You can open the webbrowse-js.sj and set the DEBUG statement at the beginning to 1. If you now enlarge the player window you will see some debug statements below the player. Post them here, perhaps that helps to fin the problem.
Did you browser gives any javascript error message?
Did you try a different browser?
Do you have any add or popup filter enabled?

Also, is there something that could be done to play movies in that player too?

Only if the author of the SWF plugin adds movie support. At the moment it only would support .FAC files. This is not that interesting...

With the new version for 4.4.1 (on Terastation) I have the problem that the Local IP is not replaced by the Dyndns in the Navigation from Twonky. Do I need to update the ini? (dyndns=xy) In the old version for 4.2.1 I did not need to change anything there.

Thanks for your reply, I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner.

I found what my problem was. On my NAS device (Buffalo Terrastation), if the power goes out I get stupid problems with not all files that were written are really committed. It uses the XFS file system and I've heard that's an issue with it. Anyway, when that happened, Twonky reverted to 4.4 beta 2 rather than the latest 4.4.1. So once I uninstalled and totally removed the older version (even removed the network share on the terrastation and put it back) everything worked great.
