Twonky mp3 wma problem.

Post by clarre » Wed Sep 19, 2007 2:04 pm

I have a Freecom FSG box with firmware 4.2.7 on it. It includes Twonky media 4.2 beta 5. I uppgraded a couple of weeks ago. I have been running Twonky for years (before the FSG I ran it on a Debian machine and had a full licence for it).

I have an old Noxon 1 and it has been working perfect for years. Now, all of a sudden after the uppgrade the Noxon can't play MP3 songs, only WMA. The MP3's show up as always but when I try to play them nothing happens most of the times but sometimes it says 'Connection Down'. WMA, no problem.

I then found this link: http://www.twonkyvision.com/Download/Add-ons/index.html downloaded the Linux ARM big endian glibc 2.2.5 to my PC, un-zipped it on the PC and then copied the files to to the cgi-bin library under /etc/twonkyvision/. I chmod:ed them so every possible right... Still it does not work!!!

Any ideas, anyone? I'm no Linux expert and maybe I should do something with the files in Linux? Install them in some way?

Please help if anyone can!!!

Best regards

C-H
