In the logfile the iTunes plugin seems to start, but the iTunes Library xml file is not processed further. Result: no audiofiles in the database.
I use *.wav and *.mp3 audiofiles only, no video or pictures.
I use Twonky on a NSLU2 NAS and replaces the relative file locations in the iTunes Library xml file.
All this worked fine with version 3.1
But after that I spent many, many hours trying to get a newer version working with iTunes playlists again.
I needed to upgrade from 3.1 because with a Soundbrigde browsing the files, the fileslisting stops at the first 400 files. This is solved in the newer Twonky versions, but I have no working iTunes playlists anymore.
Very frustrating !!
I really hope Twonky solves this basic feature soon, before adding more and more devices and other new functionality.
4.4.3 beta 1: still no iTunes playlists !!
I have this working on my Kurobox-HG, I use it for the ITunes playlists.
Not sure what you have setup in terms of paths, but I can tell you that just specifying the ITunes xml file isnt enough (I originally thought it would resolve the paths using the declaration inside the XML).#
I have the paths setup to scan the MP3 locations, aswell as the ITunes path. I must admit it seemed to take ages to bring in the playlists with the current Beta (far longer than before), but it has got there in the end.
