I am using my NSLU2 with OpenSlug 2.7 Beta for about two years. Now i wanted to install TwonkyMedia. I downloaded the Installationfile for NSLU2 and started the nassetup.exe.
After accepting the conditions i entered the correct IP-Adress, root and root-Password i always get the error messege "could not connect to NSLU2, please check IP of NSLU2"
I checked my Slug and found only the openssh-daemon running but no telnet daemon. I think the installation programs wants to open a telnet session but i have no idea how to enable the telnet server on my slug.
Maybe anyone of you can tell me wich package i have to install on my OpenSlug 2.7 Beta for a working telnet server?
Installation Problems with OpenSlug 2.7 Beta
OK. I got telnet running (installed inet-utils and modified xinetd.conf).
I modified the installation-script (install.sh) for the directory-structure of OpenSlug and the installation process worked fine.
The Webinterface is accesible, but no media files were found. When i want to add directories for media files with the webinterface, there are no directories shown!
