Twonky accessing an Ipod

Post by mph070770 » Fri Mar 28, 2008 1:12 pm

I'm trying to get Twonky to scan my iPod (nano 1st gen) whenever I plug it into my PC. I want my music to be only on my iPOD (not my PC) and when it's inserted into the iPOD dock I want Twonky to scan the contents and make the contents available to my other uPnP clients.

I have my Ipod in disk mode and can get Twonky to scan the iPOD by selecting "rescan content directories" but it won't automatically do it either with "rescan in minutes" set to a number of minutes or "-1". Any ideas why not? I want to be able to leave my PC on, and when I insert the iPOD I want twonky to scan the music and make it available on the network. When I remove the ipod I want a Twonky scan to see that all the music is unavailable and report 0 files available for playing.

Any ideas why only manual scanning work?

Thanks
