Installing trial

I downloaded the linux install version, and upon opening I get this error:

How do I go about fixing this?

you will have to launch this shell script in a terminal!
but first you will have to add executable flag to the file.

Open your terminal and change directory to your download path...

chmod +x twonkymedia-i386-glibc-2.2.5.sh
sudo ./twonkymedia-i386-glibc-2.2.5.sh
I don't know whether you really need root privileges for setup... you can
also try without sudo ... never installed this way ;)

you need sudo to copy some file,
if you don't use sudo, the script give some copy error message.

Try using this guide. Most of it is performed inside a terminal, but it should be pretty straight forward:
