I have this odd behaviour from my Trendnet 633 router: when I connect my media clients via wireless connections, Im correctly receiving NOTIFY/multicasted packets from my TwonkyServer (residing on a Ubuntu server on the other side(subnet) of the router). When I connect my client via the wired ports on the router no NOTIFY packets are received(meaning, my xbox 360 (which is wired) is unable to discover Twonky). I looked thru my router manual, and do not see how to set things differently up for Wireless vs. Wired, theres no difference!?.
my lan setup is:
XBOX360(FAIL) Laptop (WORK) Laptop(FAIL)
| (wired) / (wireless) / (wired)
Trendnet Router

Ubuntu (Twonky)
I use the Intel UPNP framework to test the discovery/connection
Do you have any ideas or experience with Trendnet routers? (I want to watch videos on my xbox!!
