A bit of a strange one for you. I have 4.4.9 and it has been running fine. I have since got a new external drive, which has allowed me to re-rip my CDs as WAV files using iTunes, so I am deleting teh files in iTunes, then re-ripping onto the external hard drive.
I have added the new directory in the Sharing tab, but when I re-scan, I can see the count of files increasing when I view the status page, but then when it has completed the count goes back to zero for all types of files (Music/Photos/Video). I have re-checked the correct directories are set-up and the fact that I can see it counting up on the status page suggests that it is looking in the right place.
Any ideas?

I have tried re-building the database, with the same results.ThyMaster wrote:Hi,

Once the database re-build has finished, should the file modified date be changed (to todays date)? The file I'm looking at is: twonkymedia.main.db, which contiues to have the old date prior to requesting the re-build.
Frustrating

Re: 4.4.9 After Scanning Directories No Files Found
I have exactly the same prolem and have no idea how to fix it.
Rebuilding the database doesn't fix it.
Perhaps are some other information helpful: first I entered a sharing location that consists of thousands of files in hundrets of subdirectories. when I used the pv connect in order to access the media files, the folders and the content was displayed but after clicking on a file I got an 404 error page. Clicking on a different file (which was an audio file) resulted in displaying a photo! All files looked to be totally mixed up.
In this situation i decided to reduce the amount of media files for the server and i changed the shared folder to one that only consists of 36 video files. after restarting the server and displaying the information you can see that the system counts to 36 videos and after that gets back to zero and no file is displayed in pv connect.
Unless this problem isn't solved TwonkyMedia is unusable. Any other ideas?
