I just set up a Qnap TS-109II for serving music and pics to, among other devices, a Denon 3808.
Boy am I having a hard time (and I've been working in computers for many, many years).
Problems:
1) Running Mediaserver 4.4.9, sharing Qmultimedia and the clients are correctly picked up (Denon, Twonkyplayer, generic).
A) The Denon sees the music files but no image files. I tried creating a new share and putting some images in it, enabling it as a shared location (with "All Content Types") and the Denon still doesn't see it.
B) The Denon doesn't see any playlists (I have a few .m3u) that reside under Qmultimedia.
2) Turning on the iTunes service results the Qnap showing up as a SHARED device in iTunes, but selecting it results in getting stuck with a "Loading..." message -- files never get displayed.
Thanks very much for any help!
Joseph

Re: Help please
1) To clarify, I see the image files by their names -- can't view the actual images.
2) no playlists showing up on the receiver except the default twonky playlists.
Thanks!
