Hi,
twonky server works fine with ps3. But now there is youtube feature included. I have try it on the ps3. The stream started but after 2 or 3 seconds it stops and ps3 told me data is corrupt. Has somebody an idea how it works fine on a ps3?

Re: Youtube and PS3
Seeing the same problem. It was reported a while back, as is on the list of things to be looked at I believe.
It MAY be down the fact PS3 is not detected correctly in TMS5, so a fix for that, may fix this...

It's no the same for me. It now streams, but it very jumpy. However this is a known issue according to the release notes.

Same problem here. PS3 plays 2-3 seconds and then a message appears that the data is corrupted.
Anyone any clues?

It's a known issue, and until TwonkyMedia fix it, there is little you can do...mlandman wrote:Same problem here. PS3 plays 2-3 seconds and then a message appears that the data is corrupted.

Re: Youtube and PS3
I am running Twonky Media Server 5.062 with a HP Media Smart EX485 connected to a PS3. How do I configure the HP / Twonky add-in for media streaming from internet sources such as You Tube? Using the browser based configuration page, I see a link to the setup, but am unable to configure it there. I don't see anythin in the WHS console either. If I use TMM, I see a You Tube video folder, but this is coming from my desktop based Twonky server. I see You Tube, but once again, no where to add a username/password or any other configuration settings.
Thanks.
Bill

Any update yet? Tried the facility out in anger for the first time tonight, and got varying responses - pretty much the entire gamut...mgillespie wrote:It's a known issue, and until TwonkyMedia fix it, there is little you can do...mlandman wrote:Same problem here. 1. Unsupported media - wouldn't play
2. Corrupt media
3. Media listed and started playing, but then paused / stuttered / stopped
4. The best one... it plays, stutteringly, but it's not what I selected - maybe a previous one I attempted.
Great potential - currently a chocolate teapot. Looking forward to some forward movement on this, but won't be holding my breath
