I am running Windows7 - 64bit and the latest release of Twonky media server.
Each time I start the settings menu I am informed that BGTrans.exe has crashed. I have had the same problem on all 5.xx versions. Do I need to install some transcoder software to avoid this crash?
I have the media server starting on system startup, but don't get the crash on start of the server alone, only by starting the settings menu.
PS.
Where can I read more about the transcoding functionality (and its usability on a PS3?)
Regards

The final version is Windows 7 is not out for another 6 weeks or so... Perhaps it's a Windows 7 pre-release bug.

About windows7 and release dates.
Basically it depends on your Microsoft subscription. With the right (Tech) subscription Windows7 is released/available
How about some comments/solutions to my questions?.
