Setting up shoutcast on xbox 360

Post by snwboardn » Sun Mar 14, 2010 8:25 pm

Okay so I need a step by step tutorial about setting up shoutcast to play over the network... I dont know what Upnp or all these other acronyms i keep seeing mean. Right now I have the xbox recognizing media manager and I can play songs saved on comp... Now streaming shoutcast from winamp to MM... how? I saved a m3u file that winamp can play automatically and it even shows up on the xbox but when you go to play the playlist it doesnt do anything... no matter what i do... What am i missing here? its fustrating because there are tons of "hey just set it up" but the menu is not very intuitive for a total newb... do I have to set up an ip address and play it like a website on the xbox or what am I not doing that I need to do?

Okay i did it with windows media center... much easier than using this... you guys should definitely make a user video that shows step by step how to set shoutcast up over the network using your software, because why would somebody pay money for something that is not very self explanatory? Just try searching for "set up shoutcast stream to xbox 360 twonky" and see all the garbage that comes up
